Tableau Table
by Tableau
Description
Tableau Table brings the best of both worlds: record-level data tables paired with the power of Tableau visualizations. With a Tableau Table, you can create a rich table experience right in Tableau with conditional formatting, search, and Viz in Cell.
Tables work best to use your data to see precise values, compare values, and analyze values involving multiple units of measure. Graphs work best to identify trends, anomalies, or relationships. In other words—graphs show the forest while tables highlight the individual trees.
To create a Tableau Table, drag Dimension and Measure fields onto Detail. Select Format Extension to format, or use the toolbar to access conditional formatting and Viz in Cell functionality.
This extension is a network-enabled extension. For network-enabled extensions, you need to allow or deny the Viz Extension access. To learn more about adding Network-enabled extensions to an allow list, see Tableau Help: Change the default settings for a site.
This Viz Extension is created by Tableau and makes use of Tableau interactivity behaviors.
