The Tableau Pulse Adoption Accelerator connects to Admin Insights to offer a view of your Tableau Cloud Deployment's current usage of Tableau Pulse. This pre-built workbook enables you to answer common questions on how Tableau Pulse is being used today while also guiding you to untapped Pulse opportunities. Use the starter workbook as-is, or customize it to create more detailed dashboards and workbooks that address the unique questions of your organization.

  • Which data sources are leveraging Tableau Pulse? How so?

Explore pre-built dashboards

  • Explore Tableau Pulse Activity: The first tab provides a look at key Pulse users and activities, helping you answer essential questions like "Are we using Pulse?" and "Who is using Pulse and how?"
  • Explore Pulse Metrics by Project: The second tab offers insights into how Pulse is being utilized within a specific project. It helps you answer questions such as "How are my existing metrics being adopted?" "Do we have the right Pulse Metrics set up?" and "Which data sources aren't feeding Pulse Metrics yet?" This tab enables you to assess the effectiveness of your current metrics and identify areas for improvement.

Set up the workbook

To set up and connect the workbook to your site data, follow these steps:

  1. Download the Tableau Pulse Adoption accelerator.
  2. Open the workbook (Accelerator - Tableau Pulse Adoption.twbx) in Tableau Desktop.
  3. When prompted, sign in to Tableau Cloud as a site administrator.

After signing in, you can continue to use the Starter workbook locally or publish it to your site to collaborate with other users.
